Our International Delivery Pledge
We regulary ship our crafty loveliness all around the globe! We have an International Delivery Pledge, if it costs us less to ship your parcel we will refund the difference! What does this mean? Well orders weighing under 1kg eg. ribbon & haberdashery, a couple of metres of fabric or a few balls of wool will typically result in a refund!
Our international delivery rates are as follows:
We charge a flat fee for European delivery of £8 (with exceptions below). All parcels are sent Royal Mail Airmail to ensure they reach you as soon as possible.
Australia, New Zealand & Republic of Singapore delivery
Our flat fee for delivery to Australia, New Zealand and the Republic of Singapore is £17*. All parcels are sent Royal Mail Airmail to ensure they reach you as soon as possible
Rest of the world delivery
If your country is not mentioned above we charge a flat rest of the world delivery fee of £15*. All parcels are sent Royal Mail Airmail to ensure they reach you as soon as possible
As mentioned above we operate an International Delivery Pledge where we refund the difference if it costs us less to ship. To give you an example of shipping costs for our fabrics the following P&P charge would typically apply for rest of the world delivery:
5 units of fabric = £6.00 cost = refund of £9.00
10 units of fabric = £9.00 cost = refund of £6.00
16 units of fabric = £12.00 cost = refund of £3.00
* Please note that for large overseas orders we reserve the right to pass on additional postage charges for heavy or bulky orders (typically over 1kg of yarn) . We will always contact you prior to dispatch to advise of any additional charges. Please remember our international delivery pledge, for small orders we will refund excess delivery charges once your order has been processed and dispatched! eg. an order of ribbon or fabrics sent to the USA will not cost us £15 to post therefore we will refund any excess postage paid.
International packages are sent using Royal Mail Airmail which is an untracked service. If you would like to add tracking to your package simply choose the International Tracking option at checkout. International Tracking costs an additional £5 and under our International Delivery Pledge we will refund the difference if it costs to less to ship and this applies to International Tracking too. Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for International Parcels which go missing where Tracking has not been purchased.
Please note that in accordance with UK export regulations we are required to declare the value of all items and identify the order as dutiable “merchandise” for all international parcels. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay any overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees that may be imposed. For more information on taxes, duties and customs regulations please contact your local customs office directly.
All our delivery dates are estimates and we cannot be held responsible for delays in deliveries caused by Royal Mail or any other courier we may use.
